The Transition Event Online
Welcome to the Transition Event Hub – a virtual event for young people with additional needs and those who support them.
The current Coronavirus pandemic means that most things have changed. However, what hasn’t is the need to support young disabled people. If anything, this support is more necessary than ever. Disabled children will still become disabled adults and during an uncertain time where education rights have been suspended and support groups have been forced to close, current guidance and expert advice is invaluable.
The Transition Event Hub is an online version of our Transition Event. It brings together experts to talk about the different transition topics, aims to help answer your questions, and arm you with the most up-to-date information so you can best support your disabled young person and safeguard their future.
This online event is for parents and carers of children with additional needs, young people themselves and schools. The event hub goes live 16th November 2020, for lots of useful resources, with the live webinar taking place Friday 20th November. Pop a date in your diary and visit us for a variety of transition presentations, resources and workshops – all for FREE!
If you are experiencing any problems signing up for the event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Live webinars via Zoom on Friday 20th November, focusing on navigating transition, housing, employment options, education, and EHCPs.
