The Inclusion Project is a multi-award-winning innovative initiative. It also promotes a healthy, social and active lifestyle for adults with Learning Disabilities.
The emphasis is for participants to be included into the local community.
Post education life can be an abyss for people with Learning Disabilities. Sometimes it can be difficult to find activities during the week that will facilitate the lifestyle that young adults desire. The Inclusion Project is set to solve this issue.
Costs
The Inclusion Project is funded through direct payments. People with Learning Disabilities can be allocated these by their social workers. We charge in line with the standard direct payment hourly rate in each local area. Our costs can also be privately funded.
Transport and Ratios
Participants will be collected and dropped home (or whichever location is requested) by a Group Leader at a pre agreed time.
We offer group-based sessions, meaning that there is a ratio of up to three Participants to one Group Leader. One to one ratio care can also be provided.
Most frequently we have a ratio of three participants to one Group Leader. The Inclusion Project at Home has a one to one staff to Participant ratio. For people with varying Learning Disabilities.
