What inspired you to start your blog?

I wanted to provide useful information to other parents through our experiences on days out. It is also important to me to write posts to raise awareness of my son’s rare chromosome disorder, and acceptance of autism. My son’s persistence and positivity in life inspired me too.

What other blogs/organisations do you turn to for advice?

Autism in Museums, Curriculum for Autism, No Magic Wand UK, Autism in our Nest, PDA Bubble, It’s okay to be different, Not Raingirl, PDA Society, Rare Disease UK, Rare Revolution Magazine, Unique (Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group), Carers UK, Special Needs Jungle, SEN Legal and Mencap. There are so many amazing bloggers and organisations I could name. I gain a lot of insight from autistic bloggers and feel that it is essential to listen and gain perspective from people who are autistic.
