What to expect from your visit
The Transition Event tells you what you really need to know about the Transition from children’s to adult’s services. It’s informative, fun and free. Here’s what you can expect from your visit. Our next event is the Transition Event Midlands, taking place Thursday 30th April 2020 at the Motorcycle Museum, Solihull. The event runs from 9.30 am – 4.15 pm.
Access to sector experts
The Transition Event brings together experts from a range of different fields, all under one roof. Hear them speak about navigating transition, housing, EHCP’s, education and employment. Use our one-to-one parent zone to get more in-depth advice and guidance away from the main floor.
Participate in a range of interactive workshops. Following the main stage presentations, these workshops give you an opportunity to ask the questions you want answered and explore topics in more depth. We often also run dedicated workshop sessions for young people.
A chance to try out products and discuss services
Our exhibition of products and services means you can get hands on with new equipment and speak directly to those offering support services local to you.
If you are attending in a professional capacity, you can claim CPD points.
The Transition Event is both about and for young adults with additional needs. Young people are very welcome, and encouraged to attend. It also makes a great day out for school groups. More about booking your school can be found here.
