The Transition Event Midlands 2017
May 18 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm| Free - 99.00£
The Transition Event is a conference and exhibition developed to debate and discuss the future for young adults with additional needs.
Moving into adulthood can be a time of great hope and excitement, but it is also frequently met with uncertainty. The Transition Event aims to help answer your questions, offer you access to experts and give you information to take away. We want to help you to support young people.
Whether you want to know about how the transition to Education, Health and Care Plans is working, how to navigate adult services or more information on employment, housing or education options, The Transition Event has the experts with the knowledge to share.
The full conference programme also has three interactive workshops to help you delve into subjects. As well as the learning opportunities of the conference, there is a packed exhibition of organisations offering local and national services. These exhibitors are selected to enhance your day and help you to find suitable products and services to meet your specific requirements.
The Transition Event is for parents, carers and practitioners and aims meet the needs of young people and those who support them. Held in Birmingham, it attracts delegates from across England to share expertise, find solutions and help support disabled teenagers into adulthood. Attendees include parents, teachers and practitioners supporting disabled young adults. Schools are also encouraged to bring along their students to attend our FREE exhibition of products and services.
