Sometimes, if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry. This award is for the blog talking about life with SEND in a humorous way. Kindly sponsored by Eden Futures
I’m a mum of 4, but I’m so much more than that. This blog is a glimpse into my mad world-the frustrations, joys and heartache of raising 4 kiddies, one of whom is particularly special, and trying not to lose myself along the way.
This blog charts the journey and adventures of a rather scrumptious (if I do say so myself) and incredibly inspiring little girl called Hannah, who has a rare genetic condition called Cornelia de Lange Syndrome and whose favourite food is broccoli (hence the title!)
So it’s no secret I have a lot going on. I’m a single parent, I have two small children and one happens to be disabled. On top of this I’m a student Midwife, a peer supporter and all round busy bee. It’s a juggling act but I manage.
If you dislike swearing and honesty, than this is not the blog for you. I wanted to provide something that I was looking for myself after Joseph was diagnosed with ASC (hence the title of the page….) I aim to tell it exactly how it is but hope you stick with our colourful journey!
